A numerical rating that represents your creditworthiness based on your financial history. In Kenya, the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) maintains these records. Example: A young professional in Nairobi applies for a phone lease but is declined because a missed Tala loan repayment lowered her CRB score. After clearing the debt and waiting 6 months, her score recovers and the lease is approved.
